What is this website for?

This is the online home for First Methodist Church (FMC). It’s where you can explore who we are, watch messages, find upcoming events, join groups, and stay connected throughout the week.

Do I need an account to use the site?

Not at all. You can explore most of the site without signing in. Creating an account simply makes things easier—like registering for events, giving, and staying in the loop. 

How do I create an account?

To create a user Subsplash account for giving, messaging, or app access, open your organization's app, click the profile/donor icon in the top-right corner, and select "Log in or sign up". Choose to register via email, Apple, Google, or phone number to set up your profile and password.
Steps to Create a Subsplash User Account:
  • Via App: Open your church or organization's app, select the profile icon in the top right, and choose "Log in or sign up".
  • Via Web/Giving: Navigate to the organization's Giving page, click the profile icon in the top right, and select "Sign Up".
  • Method Selection: Select your preferred method: Email, Apple (iOS/Safari), Google, or phone number.
  • Verification: If using email, create a password and verify your account through the link sent to your email.
  • Finalize: Once verified, your account allows you to securely manage donations and access member features. 

Is there an FMC app?

Yes! You can download the FMC app through the App Store or Google Play. It’s the easiest way to stay connected on the go.

Do I need the app, or can I just use the website?

Both work great. The app is perfect for quick access during the week, while the website is ideal when you want to explore more in-depth.

Where can I watch or listen to sermons?

Visit the Messages section to find recent sermons and past series. Whether you missed a Sunday or want to revisit a message, it’s all there.

Can I share messages with others?

Yes—each message can be shared easily. It’s a great way to invite someone into what we’re learning together.

How do I sign up for events?

Head to the Events page, select what you’re interested in, and click “Register.” You’ll get a confirmation once you’re signed up.

Do I need an account to register?

For most events, yes. This helps us communicate details and plan well.

What kinds of events does FMC offer?

Everything from Sunday gatherings and Bible studies to family and community events, service opportunities, and seasonal celebrations. There’s something for every stage of life.

How do I get connected in a group?

Check out the Groups page to find small groups, Bible studies, and community gatherings. You can request to join right there.

I’m new—where should I start?

You’re always welcome at any Sunday service. From there, joining a group is one of the best next steps to get connected at FMC.

How do I give online?

Click the Give button and follow the steps. You can give one time or set up recurring giving.

Is online giving secure?

Yes. FMC uses secure, encrypted systems through Subsplash to protect your information.

Can I manage my giving history?

If you create an account, you can view your giving history and manage your preferences anytime.

How will I hear about updates or changes?

You can stay updated through the app, email, and announcements on the website.

Can I choose what notifications I receive?

Yes. You can manage your preferences in your account or app settings.
